Your calculator data never leaves your device
Every mortgage, tax, and auto loan calculation on TaxAndLoans runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The numbers you type into a calculator — your income, your loan amount, your home price — are never sent to our servers, never stored in a database, and never logged anywhere. There is no backend processing your financial inputs, because there doesn't need to be: the math happens locally on your device, and it disappears the moment you close or refresh the page.
Technically, here's what that means: when you type a number into any calculator field, it's processed by a JavaScript function running inside your browser tab, the same way a spreadsheet recalculates a cell. No network request is triggered by a calculator input — nothing is sent out, queued, or transmitted anywhere. You can verify this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and use any calculator. You'll see zero outbound requests caused by typing into an input field.
Cookies & advertising (Google AdSense)
This site uses Google AdSense to display advertising, which helps keep every calculator free. AdSense and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads that may be more relevant to you based on your visits to this and other sites. We don't control how Google collects or uses this data beyond what's described in Google's own policies. Analytics (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how many people visit the site, which calculators are most useful, and which pages need improvement. This data is aggregated and used for traffic analysis only — we don't use analytics to identify or track individual visitors, and we don't combine it with the financial figures you enter into a calculator.
Opting out of personalized ads
If you'd prefer not to see ads personalized to your browsing activity, you can manage your preferences directly through Google's Ad Settings page. Opting out won't reduce the number of ads you see, but it will make them less tailored to your browsing history.

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. TaxAndLoans does not require any account or personal information to use, so this is unlikely to occur in practice — but if you believe a minor has submitted personal information through this site, contact us and we will remove it.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time, most often when our advertising or analytics tools change. Any material change will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of TaxAndLoans after a change is posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
